The County's Economy
Like most every layer of government, the County is facing budget problems. Nina believes in working toward common sense solutions. This means everyone will have to give up a little to work toward a better whole. The Republicans have opposed all cuts and every solution proposed by the County Executive. This is not an example of responsible leadership. This is an example of petty partisan politics, which does not serve us well. It’s time for elected officials to act like adults and roll up their sleeves to work together. For the long term sustainability of our county’s economy, we have no choice.
