Next Generation HousingNina has been involved in the issue of keeping young people on Long Island and ending the “brain drain” for many years now, and serves as co-chair of Action Long Island’s Housing and Development Task Force. She knows how hard it is for young adults and seniors to stay on Long Island, and has been working to create more realistic housing situations. Nina believes that you need to have “cool downtowns” in conjunction with places for people to live to spur the economy to compliment condos and apartments near economic hubs. Nina also knows the importance of homeownership and believes we should be making every effort to keep our young professionals on Long Island. |
