Nina Petraro Bastardi of Valley Stream has been selected as one of only 30 Long Islanders to receive this year’s “30 under 30” award celebrating the most accomplished young professionals. “It is an honor to receive this award,” said Ms. Petraro Bastardi. “In this economy, it’s not always easy to make advancements in the professional world, and I’m thankful to the Chamber of Commerce for this distinction.” Ms. Petraro Bastardi will receive the award at a dinner on March 30th at the Hilton Long Island. She is an attorney at the law firm of Farrell Fritz and is a Deputy Attorney for the Village of Valley Stream. Additionally, Ms. Petraro Bastardi is a board member on Valley Stream’s Friends of Bridge substance abuse treatment center, is a member of the Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce, and is publicity director of the Valley Stream Central High School Business Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Housing and Development Task Force for Action Long Island and is a lector at Holy Name of Mary Church.
